Tweed and the Sugardaddies

Tweed and the Sugardaddies are Rockabilly Troubadours. The band provides a vast array of authentic original material, but they also cover a diverse set of artists during their live shows. Major influences to the bands style include, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly, Elvis and Hank Williams as well as Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan. The band is based out of central New Jersey, and has been playing the original circuit for ten years. What you can expect when you come to see this act live is a dynamic, tight knit group of capable musicians, having a rollicking good time on stage.

During the Month of June 2014, the band recently signed with Lanark Records. They cut their new ten- song CD at the Lanark, Lancaster studios and will release the CD mid-summer. Songs from the CD include long-time set staples:  “Release Me” and “The Bottle” as well as brand new material including, “Real Gone Jerk”, “Is It True” and “Lonelier than Me”.
