A sold out show at New York’s legendary Bowery Electric club capped off the first official Rockats U.S. tour in over 20 years. The band, led by Smutty Smiff and Dibbs Preston performed in front of a rawkus crowd on the final night of their U.S. stint. On hand for the event at the Bowery Electric was famed rock n roll photographer Bob Gruen, who has photographed some of the most iconic celebrities in rock history (John Lennon). Gruen snapped a number of photos of the band to add to his collection. Also on hand was a team from REBEL INK MAGAZINE, shooting photos for a feature in an upcoming issue of the magazine. The Rockats will be returning to the U.S. for the VIVA LAS VEGAS ROCKABILLY FESTIVAL in Las Vegas this spring and will add additional U.S. tour dates. Plans are currently underway for a European tour in the first quarter of 2014. Follow Lanark Records here or on on Facebook
